I think I've bumped into more friends in New
Zealand in the street in the last month
than I did in Kingston, UK
during the last year even though I lived there 16 years!
It’s good to be back at the sea. Today I picked enough mussels to cover
the floor of the dingy. Tomorrow I'll clean them of barnacles then pop
them into clean water with oats (the oats will flush them out and make them
delicious) then three friends onboard for a Christmas feast.
Fixed a bad oil leak in the engine which has been bugging me since I left Europe!
And also found an engine part which has been impossible to find. I'm having
problems starting the engine and I'm not sure why.
